The grapes intended for this elegant and eclectic wine are gathered at dawn: daybreak is crystallised in the bottle with its coral hues, its scents of undergrowth and the promise of a new beginning.
A very elegant coral pink, the aroma enhances the fruity notes, from ripe cherry to blood orange, with currants and black cherries in syrup; it continues with beeswax and gentian root. On the palate, fruit once again dominates, a long trace of pomegranate, extremely juicy pink grapefruit.
It is a very drinkable wine notwithstanding the full structure, certainly a good substitute for red wines with red meat dishes, perhaps with short cooking times or light marinades; should also be tried with fish-based risottos.
