This is what Gian Mario Bariselli had in mind when, prompted by the purity and integrity of his land, he began his new project. An incomparable style, an instantly identifiable stamp: the wines of I Barisèi, with their creaminess, are able to give full satisfaction throughout the entire course of tasting and offer a complete, all-encompassing and entirely satisfying experience. The basis of this is the concept of a wine that, in the various interpretations, is appreciated for its substance not its appearance, a faithful synthesis of the best of each vintage.
Every bottle is fruit of an ardent productive vision: the harvest begins only when the grapes have reached the right maturity, which are then selected meticulously, obtaining a much lower yield than average. In fact, only a fraction of the harvest is used, well below the maximum of 65% permitted by the disciplinary.
In the cellar, the use of wood is avoided for the purpose of enhancing the integrity and the extreme adherence to the terroir, which is counterbalanced by a long fermentation and refermentation phase in the bottle, in which time and patience play a key role.
