Rosso DOC

Ruby red with purplish highlights, fruity, with hints of plum and sour cherry, enjoyably spicy with good body, dry, harmonious and enveloping.

The CurteFranca Rosso Doc goes well with the typical dishes of Franciacorta. Perfect with roasted or stewed meat, as well as cheeses that are not too spicy and medium ripe.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot.

Production zone:
The grapes intended for the production of our CurteFranca Rosso Doc come from vineyards located in the heart of Franciacorta. Harvested by hand in small boxes.

Vineyard cultivation:
Guyot training system on the gentle Franciacorta hills.

Vinification:
Controlled fermentation steel tanks between 25/30° C. Frequent pressing and pumping over of the must during the fermentation. Ageing in barriques and large oak casks for a minimum of 2 years. Before bottling, the wines are first assembled in steel tanks.

Serving temperature:
15 – 16° C.
